Craving Ramen

Hello!

I'm back with another food post. :-)

A few days ago, I went to a cafe for lunch because my friend and I were craving ramen.

This cafe had a lot of hong kong styled dishes and desserts. They have sago, tong sui, tea eggs and a lot more. Also, there is a touch screen computer at every table so you can watch any show you want to while eating, which I thought was really cool!

My friend and I got a drink, and this was a small. A SMALL!! It was so huge that both of us didn't even finish it. I got a passion fruit green tea while my friend got the green apple green tea. Both tasted really good!

My friend got fried dumplings and this only cost $3.00! It was actually 6 pieces but my friend ate one before I got to take a picture. xD

My friend who was craving ramen ordered the seafood ramen and I ordered the beef skank ramen. I had no idea what beef skank was and I still have no idea. LOL. I ordered it because it was spicy and I love spicy food!

It tasted pretty good. The noodles were pretty tasteless and I didn't like how they put so much green onions on top chopped like that. The beef was really good though, and it was only $5.00.

I had a little dessert after that and it was this green tea soft oreo cookie. My friend gave it to me since she knows I am a huge lover of green tea! I am completely obsessed over anything green tea flavored. :) It tasted really good!

The Bakeshop By Woops in Williamsburg, New York

Today, my friend Nicole and I went to Williamsburg to go thrift shopping for clothes. I have no sense of direction so when we got out of the station, we were kind of lost LOL. We saw this bakery, The Bakeshop by Woops, across the street and I recognized it from Elleanor's vlog at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YWXxs9Nr8m8

We walked past it and decided to go in since the pastries looked SOOOOOO good!! Also, the interior and exterior was so adorable.

They had a black/white chalkboard stating what they specialized in outside and also a red bench for customers to sit.

They had flowers on our table which I loved!

I though that their furniture matched so well with the interior. It reminded me of a cute little tea shop.

They had a huge open window so air could come in and also seats in front of it so customers could sit and just watch people passing by. The funny thing is, the air conditioner was open at the same time. xD

This bakery had a variety of delicious pastries! From macarons to muffins to cookies and to crossiants! Their cookies are humongous and really thick! It looked so delicious. I really wanted that.

But I settled for a chocolate croissant. This is probably the best croissant that I have ever tasted in my life. It was so light, fluffy and chewy at the same time! I really want another one... Definitely the best $2.95 that I have ever spent on a pastry!

I also bought a red velvet macaron, but it tasted like nothing..  I asked Nicole to try it just in case the taste of the chocolate croissant was overpowering the taste of the macaron, and she ended up laughing because she couldn't taste anything either. LOL xD

I accidentally ate the croissant before taking a picture of it. You can tell how soft and airy it was because it slopes down. I'm drooling just thinking about it.

This is Nicole's cookie! She got the Peanut Butter cookie. You can see how thick it is from inside the bag!

Top view of the cookie just because it was so pretty. :)

Nicole smiling for the camera. ;) She also has a blog! It's at lostandcraving.blogsot.com

Hmm, I actually don't know why she was laughing here.. LOL

Writing this post really makes me want to eat another chocolate croissant, it just tasted that good. :(
